Ninth Fort – it is one of the saddest Kaunas places, but very interesting and historically valuable. This building is known as the infamous Nazi death camp during the Nazi occupation. The exposition lets the visitor to discover the sad fate of Jews during the Nazi period in Lithuania, as well as the deportations of Lithuanians carried out by the Soviet regime.
